Living Lotus Online is a family run business in innisfil, ontario, canada.

Serving our community since 2017, we have enjoyed sharing our unique blend of Yoga, Pilates, Fusion Fitness & Mindful Movement (or as we like to call it “Living Lotus Mindful Movement”) with many local studios, festivals, conferences, special events and corporate clients.

In 2020 living lotus went online.

Combining Carole’s passion for health and wellness and Paul’s background in web and digital media, Living Lotus Online has grown into an online community of Wellness Warriors who are passionate about empowering their own physical and mental wellbeing.

Hi, my name is Carole and I’m the founder of Living Lotus Online.

As a mother of three, an experienced and certified (E-RYT 200, RYT 500 & YACEP, CYA E-RYT 500) Yoga, Mat Pilates and movement educator, female entrepreneur and ADHD warrior I have come to understand the importance of balance and sustainability in all aspects of life. I’ve taken great care to ensure that all of the movement practices featured in my online studio are sustainable, joint friendly and anatomy focused. My aim is to build a vibrant community of people who are excited to integrate Yoga, exercise and mindfulness practices into their lives. A core value of my practices is that they are accessible in ways that serve all aspects of real life.

Building on experience in Yoga, Pilates and Mindfulness.

On my fitness journey I have completed a wealth of training and certifications. However becoming a certified and experienced Yoga, Pilates, Meditation and Fitness instructor is only part of the story. As an ex ballet dancer I have experienced first hand what it feels like to push my physical body past its limits, and I’ve also directly experienced the long term consequences. This was part of what inspired me to draw upon Yoga, Pilates and other mindful movement to help my body heal itself. As an ADHD warrior I’ve also struggled with finding stillness due to an over abundance of hyperactive energy and a very busy brain. The most effective approach to managing all of this for me has been a combination of high energy fitness with the mindfulness of yoga.

Through years of practice I have found what works for me and now I want to help YOU to feel great in your body and brain. I’d love the opportunity to share these techniques and strategies with you to help you find what works for your unique situation. No matter what kind of Wellness Warrior you are, I’m here to help you find real movement that works for your real life and guide you in creating and maintaining sustainable, healthy habits to live by.

I’m passionate about building a vibrant online community here at Living Lotus Online.

That’s partly because I am excited to share our approach to mindful movement and partly because I’m also a daily user of our platform! Like many people who embark on a fitness journey I’ve struggled in the past with jumping head first into a “one size fits all” workout plan that really wasn’t the right fit for me. I know what it feels like to jump from routine to routine, pushing myself too hard and setting myself back with injuries. There is a better way! Learning to listen to my body and gaining to tools to adapt and modify exercise to make it work for me has allowed me to progress towards my fitness goals consistently and adapt to challenges. Building upon my progress with mindfulness has helped me to approach my goals sustainably and to nurture healthy habits and stick with them.

My goal is to ensure that you have a seamless, comfortable and enjoyable experience as you discover all of the amazing movement and mindfulness content that Living Lotus Online has to offer. I want you to feel at home as you browse our On Demand Library just like you would feel in your local yoga studio or your favourite gym, so you can focus on learning and building your own understanding and ultimately cultivate wellness habits that work for you.
